Why didn't recording start automatically at my meeting time?
iOS does not allow apps to turn on the microphone from the background. When the app is open, Auto mode starts recording at the event time. Otherwise you get a notification; tap Start to begin recording in one tap.
The notification didn't appear
Check Settings → Notifications → CalNote AI is allowed, and that Time Sensitive notifications are on. Focus modes can delay normal notifications; the app uses Time Sensitive alerts for meeting starts.
Which calendars are supported?
Any calendar that appears in the iOS Calendar app, including Google, Outlook, and iCloud calendars synced to your iPhone. No separate login is needed.
Who is "Me" in the transcript?
"Me" is a suggestion based on which speaker talked the most. Tap any speaker name to rename or reassign it.
Processing failed or is stuck
Open the note and tap Retry. Your recording is kept on the device, so you never need to re-record. If it keeps failing, check your connection and your remaining minutes in Settings.
Export to Obsidian asks me to choose the folder again
iOS occasionally expires folder access. Choose your vault folder again and the app will remember it.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Settings → Manage subscription, or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Restore purchases from the paywall if Pro doesn't show after reinstalling.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual notes and audio from the note screen, or delete the app to remove everything on the device. See the Privacy Policy for what is and isn't stored off-device.
